seemed to be a twenties to forties hipster crowd in this part of the city.

not sure why it is called "university" heights. no college near by. 










georges claude, french engineer, developed first neon lamp in 1902.














he sold his first neon sign in America to car dealership for $24,000 in 1923. That's approximately $316,000 in today's money.
